Martin Stoller, Data Warehouse / ETL Specialist Parkland Fuel Corporation

Microsoft has let the Preview of SQL 2016 loose on the unsuspecting public! Let’s have a look at some of the more exciting new features that SQL 2016 has in store for us, such as, Enhanced In-Memory, HTML 5 Rendering Engine (finally), Always On Encryption, Stretch Databases (leveraging your Cloud storage), Mobile Device integration for BI (CFO’s will love this!), PolyBase (your gateway to Hadoop and Azure Blob), New SSRS Tree Map and Sunburst Charts, and much more!

About Martin :
Martin S. Stoller (MCDBA, MCITP SQL DBA & SQL DEV 2005 & 2008) is a DBA, Programmer and IT Architect that learned SQL two decades ago using MS-QUERY and MS-ACCESS 1.0, and first came in contact with MS-SQL Server in its seminal version of 4.2. Currently working for Canada’s largest fuel distributor (Parkland Fuel Corporation) as their Microsoft Database Administrator & Data Warehouse/ETL Lead , Martin specializes in legacy system upgrades and unorthodoxly complex ETL.
