Featured Presentation:

A Resilient Data Pipeline for your Data Warehouse

Todd McDermid, Sr. Business Intelligence Solution Architect Absolute Software

Data Warehouses (DW) with "type 2" (historic trending) attributes are complex. When sourced from systems that don't track changes, they are also very sensitive - because your DW is the only change tracking mechanism. If your transforms fail because of unexpected data, does that mean you're missing historical changes while you work to repair the failure? If you suddenly learn that some of your transforms are incorrect, can you (easily) rebuild the history in your DW erroneously generated from them? Get exposed to a componentized, tech agnostic, robust, repeatable, and flexible technique to support type 2 change tracking in your Data Warehouse. It might save your bacon when systems or logic failures happen. It might just make you look like a superstar when you tell the business you can support logic changes retroactively.
